Serving Cambridge, Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo and surrounding area
Janel has a natural gift with children and animals. Her passion is to serve by providing comfort and connection. She strives to provide a secure and trusting relationship where she can aid in alleviating discomforts and strengthen relationships between animal and owner.
She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Once graduated, she had a particularly difficult time finding her place in the “Engineering World”. There had to be something else for her! This is when she enrolled and became a Certified Equi-Bow Practitioner.
Mechanical engineering is a discipline that applies the principles of physics and other engineering core concepts to analysis, design, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems (moving systems). Examples of these moving systems are: heat (energy), matter or mass, machines, biomechanics of humans or animals, among others.
Janel’s passion for animals, along with her engineering degree, has led her into this wonderful intuitive world of healing. Her Engineering background provides a firm foundation for analyzing movement and underlying physical structures, seeing strengths and weaknesses. She then determines an action plan, finding solutions to a variety of situations; and carries out the action plan using complementary therapies.
Janel continually seeks new services and modalities to add to her practice that will provide additional value to her clients. Next on the list is Cranio-Sacral Therapy.
“I have had the pleasure of working with Janel Ditner for many months. Janel is blessed with a very gentle manner of dealing with animals. I had complete confidence that her sole desire was to assist my mare with her healing process. She worked in a natural manner assessing at all times how my mare was reacting to her touch. This had the effect of calming and relaxing my mare as even she could sense that Janel was there to help her.” Ilona S., Ancaster
