All my life the path forward has felt unclear. To be honest, I’ve always felt a little lost.

But somehow I land safely.

And most of the time I land in the most unexpected, most beautiful, and spectacular of places, with the most AMAZING people.

Like this group.

But while there is some thrill in the “not knowing”, it can be exhausting.

And to be honest, all this stretching really doesn’t always feel the most natural to me.

However, I do it anyway… because… well… it’s important.

Thankfully, in my 50th year, I’ve gotten comfortable with the discomfort.

I’ve learned that failure is my friend.

I treat every setback as a life lesson that I not only keep for myself, I share with others.

I surround myself with people who inspire me to be great. These are people I admire, who are ambitious and are born to take risks.

My husband and lifelong partner are one of those people.

I’m deeply reflective.

I can have a good talk with myself when I need it, and I’m not afraid to be brutally honest with myself when I’m hiding something.

I’m committed to my personal growth and development. I invest in myself regularly.

I’ve learned to embrace the butterflies. When my stomach is in knots, I know I’m about to achieve another milestone.

I celebrate the small wins and I try not to sweat the small stuff.

And… I take action, even when I’m unsure of myself. I embrace the idea that life is an experiment.

If you’re at all like me, I see you. I feel you. I’m here for you.

I also want to encourage you.

It may seem really scary at first to step outside that comfort zone, but you can do it gradually. Take those baby steps.

Because stepping outside your comfort zone can make your life truly amazing.

And take it from me, you will be in awe of what you’ve accomplished and you’ll look back and wonder why you waited so long.
