High Hopes
If we dwell on the past and remain unhappy in our present, we are making a decision to stay stuck. Seligman now suggests that there may be an override button in our brains. One that can turn off our self-imposed cycle of misery

Showing up in new ways isn’t just for you. It’s for those you want to be visible to. Those you want to connect with to expand your impact, grow your business, increase your influence, or create the positive changes you want to see in your community or world.
I am continuously amazed at the intuitive wisdom of nature; how nature innately follows the guidance hidden deep within. It is similar for us humans, as it is for many of life’s creations, with one main difference: choice.
When I write, is it through inspiration or an intuitive nudge? And how do I sense the difference between them?
I have not journaled very much ( up until now). The question is, where did that inspiration come from? How was a thought divinely inspired? For myself, I get curious. Did a thought suddenly come out of nowhere?
It can be the same in life – how many of us carry around or store things that no longer serve our highest good? There are probably old beliefs that weren’t even ours to start with – they were trained into us by our parents and caregivers as we grew. There might be old traumas and griefs that were never resolved as we moved along our life path.
As seasons change, I go through a renewal of thought, perspective, and goals for the coming months. In the winter, we have the new year, so this is a time of renewal. I like to spend lots of time cleaning and purging the things in my house that no longer serve me so I can go outside when the weather is nicer.
